The GoalBit project started in 2005 as a research on P2P networks and video streaming. Several publications, masters and doctoral degrees have been developed since then, providing a strong academic background to the project.

Many researchers and engineers from various nationalities have been actively working in the project across these years, and a group of them have started GoalBit Solutions in 2010, as a company dedicated to provide services using the great knowledge gained in video streaming solutions.

Nowadays GoalBit Solutions provides customized solutions to any organization that is looking to deploy their own dedicated video delivery platform including features as live & on demand content, premium & user-generated content, large scale & enterprise deployments, free & subscription based services and much more!
